This is both my most favorite photo of Cinderella's Castle and my most bittersweet. It had been raining on and off all day, and for being in the sunshine state, there wasn't any sighting of that sun as the clouds just dominated the sky. I was riding the Wedway People Mover as the day was fading into the evening, and as we came around a corner looking towards Cinderella's Castle, I got super excited. I didn't see the sun, but I saw an explosion of color in the clouds behind the castle. Once I was able to disembark the People Mover, I made my way over to the eastern side of Cinderella's Castle, where I could get the brilliant color in the sky behind the castle. I set up my camera and tripod right along the railing that separates us guests from the water down below and started taking dozens of photos. The view was breathtaking. I then noticed that no one else was taking photos of the colorful clouds behind the castle. There were people all around, but not one as joining me in photographing the same scene. So I looked up and around and saw that every single person around me had their camera's out and were pointing in the opposite direction. I turned around and there it was, the single most vibrant double rainbow I have ever seen in my life. If I was on the other side of Cinderella's Castle, I could have been shooting a spectacular photo of Cinderella's Castle with a vibrant double rainbow behind it. That most likely would have been my favorite photo of Cinderella's Castle. I knew there wasn't time for me to race over to the other side of the castle, so I just went back to photographing the colorful clouds, with the mixed emotions of what I missed combined with what I was fortunate to see.
I hope you enjoy this Disney Canvas photo of Cinderella's Castle, and please feel free to share it!
