William Drew is a Minneapolis-based fine art photographer known for creating immersive cityscape and landscape imagery designed to live at scale. His work focuses on capturing places at their most powerful moments, often in the evening hours when light, color, and atmosphere bring a scene to life.
William works out of Studio #179 in Gallery Aurora at the historic Northrup King Building in Northeast Minneapolis, a creative hub that houses more than 300 artists. Visitors regularly experience his work during open studio events and art crawls throughout the year.
His photography has also been featured in public exhibitions, including a group installation at MSP International Airport’s Terminal 1, where his Minneapolis image Cherry Spoon Minneapolis is on display among works from other Northeast Minneapolis artists. His work has also been displayed at the Minneapolis Convention Center, bringing large-format photography into high-traffic public spaces.
Today, William’s work hangs in homes, offices, and collections around the world, with thousands of collectors choosing his images to create statement walls that celebrate the places they love.
