The Minneapolis skyline glows at dusk in this telephoto shot from the Penn Avenue bridge, with the IDS Center as the central focus, the Wells Fargo Center glowing warm gold to the left, and the Capella Tower rising at right against a cool blue sky.
I hope this piece brings a little of that downtown Minneapolis dusk into your space. Feel free to share it with anyone who loves this city's skyline as much as I do.
Gold and Glass is available in Canvas, Metal, Acrylic, and Fine Art Paper. Each print is made to order, and all orders over $99 ship free within the continental United States. Looking for a custom size? Reach out here and I'll take care of it.
I captured this one from the Penn Avenue bridge, using a telephoto lens to compress downtown Minneapolis into a tight, layered composition of three towers. The Wells Fargo Center catches the day's last light in warm gold on the left, the Capella Tower holds its own on the right, and the IDS Center sits as the central focus, its glass curtain wall catching the contrast between the warm building light and the cool blue of the dusk sky.
This piece is a great fit for anyone who loves Minneapolis, downtown architecture, or a skyline shot with a strong sense of depth and detail.
This one works well on Canvas Gallery Wrap, which brings out the warmth in the gold tones with a soft, painterly texture. For a punchier, more modern look that makes the most of the glass and steel detail, a High Gloss Metal print is a great alternative. Acrylic and Fine Art Paper are also available if you prefer those finishes, and this piece looks especially striking at larger sizes as a statement piece for a bigger wall.

What's the difference between the materials?
Canvas Gallery Wrap has a soft, textured finish that suits the warm gold tones in this shot. Metal prints offer a smooth, modern finish with punchy contrast, which works well with the glass detail in the towers. Acrylic adds extra depth and a glossy, glass-like look, and Fine Art Paper gives a more traditional, matte presentation.
Where was this photographed?
This was shot from the Penn Avenue bridge in Minneapolis, using a telephoto lens to bring the Wells Fargo Center, IDS Center, and Capella Tower together in one frame.
How long does production take?
