Halloween is a wonderful time at Walt Disney World's Magic Kingdom theme park. Between the decorations and the parties, I love making the trip from Minneapolis to enjoy all of it. I'm not able to get down there this year, but now that it is October, I figure now is a perfect time to take a look at some of my favorite Disney Halloween Images from my collection.
I'll start out with a pic from the first time I brought a camera to a Halloween trip. The year was 2007. This is a shot from the Transportation and Ticket Center looking over to see the Magic Kingdom Train Station and Cinderella's Castle. I loved those purple colors that they put on the Train Station back then.
Here is another from 2007, again taking a look at the Main Street Train Station, this time while at the park entrance and during the day. This is also my favorite look during the daytime for Disney Halloween.
My next Halloween trip to Walt Disney World didn't happen until 2011. The Mickey Pumpkins were popular back then too.
I didn't make my next Halloween Disney trip until last year, 2018. I had a crazy 7-year itch that I had to scratch. The first photo that I'm going to show is from the now-retired HalloWishes. It a moment during the show where Cinderella's Castle has turned red. I love that you can scan the crowd and see the Partners Statue standing above them.
In 2018, the Mickey Pumpkins are still just as wonderful as they have ever been. I lined up this photo to feature the Mickey Pumpkin and Cinderella's Castle.
And here's a photo looking directly at one of the Mickey Pumpkins.
How much do you love the Boo To You parade? This is easily my favorite Disney parade, and I chose this location to watch and photograph it from for two reasons: I wanted Cinderella's Castle in the background, and I didn't want to have to try and find a new spot for the fireworks as the park was insanely crowded. This photo, of course, shows the beginning of the parade.
Here are a few of my favorite character photos from the parade.
And I LOVED capturing this Haunted Mansion float with Cinderella's Castle in the background.
Tomorrowland is extra colorful during Halloween.
The park finally started to empty out about an hour after closing time, and that is when I was able to get a photo of the Partners Statue with Cinderella's Castle in the background. I love the pumpkins that are out in front of the castle.
And finally, here is one more shot of the Mickey Pumpkins, with Main St. USA lit up in the background.
