A Fall Morning at Minnehaha Creek
Jul 01, 2024
It was a crisp autumn morning when I found myself at Minnehaha Park in south Minneapolis. The park was alive with the colors of fall, and the air had a refreshing chill. Naturally, my first stop was Minnehaha Falls, the majestic 55-foot waterfall that is the park's centerpiece. After soaking in the beauty of the falls, I decided to continue my exploration by following Minnehaha Creek as it wound its way through the park towards the Mississippi River.
As I wandered along the creek, I came across a charming stone-arched bridge. I crossed the bridge, and as I continued on my way, I noticed another stone-arched bridge ahead. This bridge, bathed in the warm light of the morning sun, captured my attention. The light struck the side of the bridge, highlighting its texture and form. The scene, with the rocky bank of the creek and the smooth water flowing silently beneath the bridge, was simply too beautiful to pass up. I knew I had to capture this moment in a photograph.
I am happy to share this image, titled 'Minnehaha Arched Bridge,' with you. I hope it evokes the peace and tranquility of a fall morning at Minnehaha Creek.
