Mickey's Dining Car is a 24-hour landmark diner that features traditional comfort dishes in a vintage train car. I had never photographed or visited this landmark before an evening in January 2022.
Unfortunately, the diner was temporarily closed when I visited, but I took advantage and captured some photos of it.
My black and white photograph of this landmark diner is available as a print in a variety of sizes and media types. Sizes range from 12x8" to 60x40", and is available on paper, canvas, metal, acrylic, and wood.
This diner has been running in this same location since 1939. It has probably seen a few changes over the years, but it still carries its classic charm.
I also offer this black and white photo of Mickey's Diner as a wall mural. My wall murals are easy to install, and are available in four different sizes. I can also do custom sizes so that it can fit any wall in your home or office.
The diner was actually built in New Jersey, and then shipped by train to St. Paul where it was opened by to friends named Mickey and Bert. The diner quickly gained popularity as an inexpensive, all-night family diner.
You can also get this photo of Mickey's Diner on a coffee mug. The mugs are available in two different sizes, 11oz and 15oz. The photo is printed on a white, quality ceramic mug, and is dishwasher and microwave safe.
Mickey's is famous beyond Minnesota. It was named one of America's top ten diners by Gourmet Magazine. It has been featured on several TV shows as well, including Unwrapped, Rachel Ray's Tasty Travels, and Man vs. Food. It was seen in the movies Jingle All the Way and The Mighty Ducks. It has also appeared in the Smithsonian and National Geographic magazines.
You can also get my Mickey's Dining Car print on a Tote Bag. The tote bags are perfect for traveling or shopping. Made of spun polyester, it is a perfect eco-friendly gift. They are also available in three different sizes.
This St. Paul print is also available as a throw pillow. These pillows are available in 3 different sizes, as just a cover, as a cover and pillow with a zipper, and as a sewn shut pillow.
