Minneapolis in Full Scale: Experience the City Like Never Before

There’s a moment that happens when a photograph gets big enough, not just “large,” but truly wall-filling, where it stops feeling like a picture and starts feeling like a place. 

That moment is the entire reason I created Minneapolis in Full Scale. 

On Saturday, January 10, I’ll be unveiling two 60-inch-wide Minneapolis skyline prints inside my studio at Gallery Aurora in the Northrup King Building. These pieces  are returning from their installation at the Minneapolis Convention Center and and will be presented at their true scale for the first time inside the Northrup King Building. No mockups. No downsizing. Just Minneapolis, larger than life. 


Why Full Scale Matters 

Most people experience art online or in small prints. You scroll past it. You tap a heart. You imagine how it might look on your wall. 

But large-format photography changes the rules. 

At five feet wide, you don’t just see the skyline, you feel it. The color has room to breathe. The light has weight. The city becomes immersive instead of decorative. 

That’s what this event is about: showing what happens when cityscape photography is allowed to live at the size it was meant to.
