Northrup King Nights: An Indoor Art Festival of Energy and Discovery

If you’ve ever wanted to experience the Northrup King Building at its most alive, Northrup King Nights is the night to do it. 

For four vibrant hours, this iconic Minneapolis landmark transforms into a premier indoor art festival celebrating creativity and community. All four floors open up, studios come alive, and visitors are invited to wander, explore, and connect directly with the artists who make this building such a special place.

What to Expect

Northrup King Nights is part open studio, part art crawl, and part social event. You’ll find: 

• Open artist studios across four floors 
• Special events and experiences hosted by artists 
• Galleries, boutiques, and local creative businesses 
• Fine art, photography, jewelry, sculpture, home goods, wearables, and more 

Whether you arrive with a plan or just follow your curiosity, the building rewards wandering. Every hallway holds something unexpected.

If you’re coming out, make sure to stop by Gallery Aurora – Studio 179, where I’ll be showing my work and chatting with visitors throughout the evening. Northrup King Nights is one of my favorite events to talk art, share stories behind the images, and meet people who are discovering the building for the first time, or the hundredth.
