The city of Brooklyn Center has started having First Saturday Pop-Up Markets this summer, and I will be one of the businesses on hand at the next one! After having a wonderful experience at my very first Meet the Artist event this past Sunday, I am ready to move on to bigger things and these events are a great stepping stone for me.
This next event will be on Saturday, September 1st from 11:00 AM - 5:00 PM and I will be presenting my prints and calendars there for everyone to see! The address of the event is 5801 Xerxes Ave N, Brooklyn Center, MN 55429. It is an empty parking lot, so do not go there looking for any particular building. There will be up to 44 shops there, as well as kids games, food, and live music too. If you are on Facebook, make sure you check out the event page here.
I'd also like to bring attention to the most unique photo in my gallery. It is a photo that I took on my recent trip to Walt Disney World this past May. I had just arrived at the Hollywood Studios, and as I did a platoon of Stormtroopers marched by on it's way to the stage in front of the Chinese Theater. Knowing that they would be returning, I stood right there and waited out the show and waited for them to march back in my direction. That patience paid off as it allowed me to get this photo:
