For the 2019 Minneapolis Aquatennial Fireworks, I went to the same exact place that I had gone for the 2018 Aquatennial Fireworks. A photo from the 2018 fireworks is currently my favorite Minneapolis photo. I didn't go back to duplicate last years photos, I went back to finish the job as last year I had battery issues and I was only able to photograph the first few minutes of the show.

If you have followed me for a while, you know that whether it is in a city, or at Walt Disney World, I love photographing fireworks. And I know by going back to the same spot that I needed to make sure I did my best to exceed my favorite from 2018.

The scene where I shoot from includes the Boom Island Lighthouse, the Hennepin Avenue Bridge, and the Minneapolis Skyline, and of course the Mississippi River flowing through the shot.
