Water Tower Clock Tower Minneapolis Skyline

Water Tower Clock Tower Minneapolis Skyline - Minneapolis Cityscape | William Drew Photography

This amazing view of the Minneapolis Skyline is from the Ridgeway Parkway Park in Minneapolis. It is a favorite of mine, and I visit the park often.

In order to get a photo like this, you do need to zoom way in, as you are quite a ways away from the skyline while at this park. I had my 400mm lens for this photo, and had it set at 344mm.

The reason I gave it the name Water Tower Clock Tower Minneapolis skyline is simply from the things you can see in the photo. If you look to the lower left side of the photo, you can see the colorful water tower that is by the Pilsbury Flour neon sign in the St. Anthony Main area of the city. Then to the right of that, you can see the downtown clock tower.

Of course, the Minneapolis skyline is very colorful at night. With purple, green gold and teal colors lighting up the city on this night. Those colors are what always catch my eye and are why I gave my photography the slogan of "The Colors of the Night".
