The Osborne Family Spectacle of Dancing Lights at Walt Disney World's Hollywood Studios will be greatly missed by many people now that it is gone. I took this photo of the main area of the lights in 2013, a couple of years before they took it down to make room for Star Wars and Toy Story lands.
When I was setting up to take this photograph, I wanted to set up in a place that allowed me to capture some of the light that was left in the sky before it went completely dark. With the Osborne lights being turned on early enough, there was just enough light left in the Florida dusk sky to really make this photo pop.
So I staked out a spot right at the very beginning of where they let you walk in, and waited for the lights to turn on. This was going to be my first time at the Osborne Lights for when they turned them on for the evening. I remember they did the usualy Disney pomp-and-circumstance leading up to the lights being turned on, but I don't remember any specifics of it. I do, however, remember how amazing it was once those lights were flipped on and I had the view captured in this Disney Christmas image.
I hope you enjoy this photograph, and as always, please feel free to share it!
