This was shot from my favorite vantage point at Epcot, the balcony of Teppan Edo, up above the Japan Pavilion, looking out over the torii gate and World Showcase Lagoon. From up there, Illuminations: Reflections of Earth wasn't just a fireworks show; it was fire, water, lasers, and that soundtrack all coming together at once, with the torii gate silhouetted right in the middle of it.
Illuminations closed for good in 2019, and Epcot has moved on to new nighttime spectaculars since. But for a lot of us, this one is still the one we measure the others against. This image is my attempt to hold onto that, not a re-creation, but the real thing, captured from the spot I always tried to get to before the show started.
Looks best on: Metal or Acrylic; the black night sky and bright bursts of fireworks have real depth and glow in both mediums.

FAQ
What show is this from? This is from Illuminations: Reflections of Earth, Epcot's long-running nighttime fireworks and fountain show, which closed permanently in 2019. This image was captured during its final seasons.
Where was this shot from? From the balcony of Teppan Edo restaurant in Epcot's Japan Pavilion — one of the best (and most sought-after) viewing spots for the show.
What size should I choose? For an accent piece, 16x24 or 20x30 works well. Given the wide, panoramic framing, larger sizes (24x36 and up) really let the full scene breathe.
Can I preview this on my wall first? Yes, use the Live Preview AR or Wall Preview tool above before you order.
