Every year during Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party, I make a point of photographing the Partners Statue and Cinderella Castle together, always making sure to catch the jack-o’-lanterns staged in front of the castle for the season. This year I didn’t make it to a party, but while wandering around the Partners Statue, I noticed I could line up the Mickey Pumpkin Wreath between Walt and Mickey in the same frame as the castle. The wreath landing perfectly between the two of them might be my favorite detail in the shot.

Cinderella Castle rises behind Walt Disney and Mickey Mouse, lit in deep blue for the evening, while the statue itself glows warmly under its own lighting, creating a nice natural contrast between the two. The Mickey Pumpkin Wreath hanging on the lamppost between them ties it to the season without overpowering the scene.
This has become something of a yearly tradition for me: capturing this exact pairing of the statue and the castle during the Halloween season, usually with jack-o'-lanterns staged in front of the castle during the after-hours party. This year, the wreath took their place, and standing right between Walt and Mickey, it earned itself a spot in the frame.
This image looks best on metal; it keeps the castle's blue glow rich and lets the Partners Statue's warm bronze tones hold their own against it. Acrylic and paper are also available.
What size should I choose?Use the Live Preview AR tool to see the actual size on your own wall using your phone or tablet, or the Wall Preview tool to see it staged in a sample room. This one has strong vertical elements (the castle spires, the statue), so it holds up well in larger sizes too.
What's the difference between the print materials?
Metal brings out the contrast between the castle's cool blue lighting and the statue's warm glow, which is why I lead with it on this one. Acrylic offers similar vividness with a glass-like finish, while paper gives a softer, more traditional look. This piece is available as fine art paper, metal, and acrylic.
Is this made to order, or do you keep inventory on hand?
Every print is made to order once you place it. Production typically takes up to 5 business days before it ships.
Is the Mickey Pumpkin Wreath a permanent decoration?
No, it's part of Walt Disney World's seasonal Halloween decor, usually up for a limited stretch each fall alongside the park's other pumpkin displays.
Where was this photographed?
At the Partners Statue in the Magic Kingdom at Walt Disney World, with Cinderella Castle lit up behind it.
Do you offer free shipping?
Yes, every order within the continental United States over $100 ships free.
