I made this photograph during the 2019 holiday season. At the time, it was simply a beautiful, quiet night on Main Street. What I didn't know was that it would be the last time I ever saw the Dream Lights. After 2019, Disney never brought them back, those 200,000-plus LEDs that wrapped Cinderella Castle in frost and icicles were retired in favor of projections, and the real lights have never returned. This image holds the final season of a tradition that defined Christmas at Magic Kingdom for over a decade.
