Captured during my October 2007 visit to Walt Disney World, this photograph features the iconic Partners Statue of Walt Disney and Mickey Mouse standing proudly in front of Cinderella Castle as the castle glows against the Florida night sky.

At the time, I had owned my first DSLR camera for only a couple of months. I was still learning photography and discovering what was possible. I remember taking this photograph, looking at the image on the back of my camera, and immediately feeling that I had captured something magical.

Nearly two decades later, that moment still stands out.

Looking back, this photograph represents far more than a nighttime view of Cinderella Castle. It represents the beginning of a journey.
