Kolob Canyon is a quieter, less-visited section of Zion National Park, tucked away from the main canyon most visitors see. The towering cliffs here are just as dramatic, with deep red and orange rock rising high above the overlooks along the road. I captured this one during a visit to the park, taking in the scale of the canyon from one of the pullouts.
I also went back later in the day to catch the same canyon at dusk — if you like this one, take a look at Kolob Canyon Dusk to see the same view in a very different light.
This piece is a great fit for anyone who loves Zion National Park, Utah's canyon country, or dramatic Southwest landscapes.
Looks Best On
This one works well on Canvas Gallery Wrap, which brings out the warmth of the red rock with a soft, painterly texture. For a punchier, more modern look, a High Gloss Metal print is a great alternative. Acrylic and Fine Art Paper are also available if you prefer those finishes.
