I photographed Kolob Canyon earlier in the day during this same visit to Zion National Park, but I couldn't resist sticking around to see how the light changed as evening approached. As dusk settled in, the canyon's red and orange cliffs took on a deeper, warmer glow, a nice contrast to the brighter daytime look of my other Kolob Canyon at Zion Park photograph.
This piece is a great fit for anyone who loves Zion National Park, Utah's canyon country, or a warm, moody dusk landscape.
Looks Best On
This one works well on Canvas Gallery Wrap, which brings out the warmth of the dusk light with a soft, painterly texture. For a punchier, more modern look, a High Gloss Metal print is a great alternative. Acrylic and Fine Art Paper are also available if you prefer those finishes.
