I had already hiked The Narrows and was heading back when I fell in love with all of the colors visible on the canyon cliffs. I knew I couldn't capture a vast, wide view of the scene that did it justice, so I went with a close-up, more abstract shot of the rock face instead, letting the streaks of color carry the composition on their own.
This piece is a great fit for anyone who loves Zion National Park, The Narrows, or a more abstract, detail-focused landscape piece.
Looks Best On
This one works well on Canvas Gallery Wrap, which brings out the warmth and texture of the rock with a soft, painterly feel. For a punchier, more modern look, a High Gloss Metal print is a great alternative. Acrylic and Fine Art Paper are also available if you prefer those finishes.
