The Central Avenue Bridge carries two names depending on which end you're standing on, Central Avenue on one side, 3rd Avenue South on the other, but from underneath, it's simply architecture doing what it does best: one arch after another, drawing the eye forward until it lands on the skyline itself.
This was shot right at dusk, when the sky still holds onto a little blue, and the buildings start doing all the work, windows lit gold and green against the glass, the whole scene mirrored back in the calm water below. It's one of those in-between moments that only lasts a few minutes, caught right as downtown Minneapolis was settling into evening.
Looks best on: Metal: the contrast between the cool concrete arches and the warm building lights has real punch on metal's glossy finish.
Also available on fine art paper, canvas, and acrylic.
FAQ

What size should I choose? For an accent piece above furniture, 20x30 or 24x36 works well. The repeating arches and skyline detail also hold up beautifully at larger sizes for a statement wall.
