I captured this one from behind a small grassy hill in The Commons park, on the same night I was out photographing in and around U.S. Bank Stadium. From this spot, the stadium's glass and steel facade glows blue against the night sky, with the surrounding apartment towers and downtown buildings framing the scene on either side. It's a wider view than some of my other shots from that night, pulling back enough to show the stadium's place within the neighborhood growing up around it.
This piece is a great fit for anyone who loves Minneapolis, U.S. Bank Stadium, or a downtown scene that captures a little more of the city around it.
Looks Best On
For a night shot like this one, I recommend a High Gloss Metal print — it holds the depth of the night sky and keeps the stadium's glow looking sharp and vivid in a way canvas can't quite match. Acrylic is also a strong option if you want even more depth and a glass-like shine, and it's available on Fine Art Paper as well if you prefer a more traditional, matte finish.
Frequently Asked Questions
What size should I choose?
Use the Live Preview AR tool to see the actual size on your own wall using your phone or tablet, or the Wall Preview tool to see it staged in a sample room. Both are available right on this page.
What's the difference between the materials?
Metal prints have a smooth, modern finish with vivid color and contrast — a great match for a night shot like this. Acrylic adds extra depth and a glossy, glass-like look. Fine Art Paper gives a more traditional, matte presentation if you prefer that over a glossy finish.
Where was this photographed?
This was shot from The Commons park in downtown Minneapolis, looking toward U.S. Bank Stadium with the surrounding neighborhood in view.
How is this different from US Bank Stadium Lawn?
Both were shot from the same spot in The Commons park, but this one is a wider view that includes the surrounding downtown buildings, while US Bank Stadium Lawn is a tighter shot focused on just the stadium and the grass.
How long does production take?
Each print is made to order once you place your request. Metal and paper prints typically ship within 5 business days; acrylic prints take a bit longer, usually 8-10 business days.
Is shipping included?
Yes, all orders over $99 ship free within the continental United States.
