Walking into the Minneapolis Convention Center this past week felt a little different. I knew that five of my large-scale cityscape prints had just been installed inside the building, but I had no idea where they would be. Instead of a neat map or list, I was left with something much more exciting: a personal treasure hunt through one of the city’s most iconic venues. 

With the hunt in mind, I wandered the halls and corridors until, one by one, I found each of my canvases hanging in its new home. Every discovery was a moment of joy; part surprise, part pride, and part awe at seeing my work on such a scale, open to thousands of visitors who walk these halls every week.

Five Canvases, One City 

Each piece is a 60" x 40" canvas celebrating Minneapolis at its most vibrant: 

• October Glow Over Minneapolis – The skyline lit in pink and purple twilight, with U.S. Bank Stadium glowing as the sun slips away. 
• Minneapolis Serenity from the Stone Arch Bridge – A twilight walk across the bridge leading straight into the heart of the city.

• Hennepin Reflections – A calm Mississippi night, perfectly mirroring the Hennepin Avenue Bridge and skyline lights. 
• Vintage Minneapolis – The Stone Arch Bridge and historic mill buildings cloaked in fog, edited to feel timeless. 
• Stone Arches 1 – A unique side view of the Stone Arch Bridge, its arches glowing across the water. 

Each one carries its own story, yet together they form a collection that honors the spirit, history, and glow of Minneapolis.

A Personal Milestone 

As an artist, there are moments that remind you why you began this journey. Seeing my work showcased at the Minneapolis Convention Center is one of those moments. These canvases aren’t tucked away in a private gallery or hidden in storage they’re part of the public fabric of our city, available for anyone to pause, reflect, and connect with. 

For me, it’s not just about the honor of being featured. It’s about knowing that someone on their way to an event might stop for a second, take in the glow of the skyline, and carry that feeling with them.
