New Feature: Create Your Perfect Sized Print

I have added a new feature to my website and I wanted to share it with you! It is actually a very simple addition, but I think it will add a lot in getting you the exact print you want. Almost all of my prints are in one of three ratios: 3:2, 2:1, or 3:1. In layman's terms, that means a print may be 12"x8" (3:2), or 12"x6" (2:1), or 12"x4" (3:1). Previously, if I uploaded a 3:2 ratio print, you could only order a print in that exact ratio. You'd have the choice of 6"x4", 12"x8", 24"x16", and so on. You may have a 20"x16" frame at home that you'd love to put that photo in but you were stuck.
The new feature that I have added is a simple cropping tool that you can use to make the image the perfect size for you. You need a 20"x16" print? You can use the crop tool and make my print a 20"x16". Do you want a square print? You can make it a square print. This new cropping tool is very simple to use. When you are selecting the size print you want, you will see a black button that says 'Crop Image' at the bottom of the list of sizes as seen in the image below.
Once you hit the 'Crop Image' button, a window will pop up that will easily walk you through the process. There are some common sizes that will be listed that you can select from, or you can use the custom size option at the bottom of the list. You then just have to set the printable area using the crop tool on the right side of the window. Just slide the box around the image until you get it set exactly the way you want it.
And that is all there is to it! I know that most of the prints ordered will be perfect in the size options that are listed, but for those times where you just need a certain sized print to fill your favorite frame, or to fill a certain spot on your home or office wall, you now have the option to do that yourself!
