Where is My Favorite Place to Watch Epcot's IllumiNations From?

There are many fantastic spots to watch IllumiNations from while you are at Epcot, and to be honest, anywhere around the World Showcase Lagoon is a good spot. But some places just call out to me and make me want to keep going back to them.

One of them is the walkway towards the old Odyssey restaurant. From here you get some beautiful reflections that are hard to resist. A bonus to this spot is how quickly you can get out of the Park after IllumiNations, if that is your goal.

I also love being by Journey Into Imagination and it's Upsidedown Waterfall. Though, from here you can't see the spinning globe part of the show. But the site of the colorful Upsidedown Waterfall is great to see!

But my favorite is from the balcony of the Teppan Edo Restaurant in the Japan Pavilion. This location of the World Showcase gives you a great look at Spaceship Earth, and having the Torii in view is always beautiful. That Torii in the water is such a beautiful foreground subject it really makes fireworks photographs stand out. For this piece, I used a wide angle lens so that I could capture the firework and the architecture in the Japan Pavilion. And when that building lights up, the photo just pops!
