Fireworks are known for their vibrant and colorful explosions. Those colorful bursts elicit many oooohs and aaaahhs by those watching. And now here I am presenting you with a black and white fireworks image. What do you think? Does it work with the lack of color? Feel free to write and let me know!
When I am at Walt Disney World, sometimes I want to try out different locations to watch and photograph Illuminations from. I have found that being away from the World Showcase Lagoon can make for some fantastic photo spots of their nightly fireworks show.
In this photo, I was standing on the walkway the runs from the old Odyssey Restaurant to the main walkway from Future World to the World Showcase. I pick a spot on that walkway that is directly under the Monorail track. I like that spot because it then centers the souvenir building that sits near the waterfront. And that spot also gives those outstanding reflections that capture both the tree line and fireworks.
I made this fireworks photo into a black and white image, which is not something I do very often with fireworks images. This one though kind of called out for it. Almost all of the fireworks in this image were white anyway, which with fireworks has more of a yellowish glow/tint to it. There were a few little green and red fireworks towards the top of the photo, but those were buried behind all of the white bursts. So I made it black and white and to me, this looks absolutely refreshing and beautiful.
This photo is available as a Disney Fine Art Print, a Canvas Wrap, and a Metal print. Take a Look at all the options and see which one looks best to you!
I hope you enjoy this Disney image, and please feel free to share it if you do!
